The Town of Halton Hills is located 40 kilometres west of Toronto, set amidst the picturesque rolling hills of the Niagara Escarpment. Halton Hills however includes two large urban centres in Georgetown and Acton. Some examples include: the Acton Branch Library and the Halton Hills Library and Cultural Centre, which are both LEED certified incorporating many sustainable technolgies. The Georgetwon Hospital is another proud pillar of this community.
Halton Hills is the home of Andrews' Scenic Acres where families can pick their own fruits and vegetables and enjoy various events throughout the year. The adjoining Scotch Block Winery features award winning fruit wines. The newest attraction in Halton Hills is Toronto Premium Outlets which features 85 brand name stores.
