2018 Ted Rogers Sports Conference

The Ryerson Sports and Business Association - RSBA is proud to present the The 2018 Ted Rogers Sports Conference, the biggest Sport and Business Conference in the GTA! From January 26th to January 28th, 2018, students will have the opportunity to attend an overnight conference that aims to bridge their passion for sports with their passion for business. Delegates will participate in a number of events that will ultimately expand their network and expose them to business opportunities in the sports world. The TRSC will feature a number of panel discussions, workshops, keynote speakers and the chance to participate in a case competition. Topics of discussion will include Tech in Sports, Sport Media, Women in Sports, and more! In addition to this, delegates will have the opportunity to attend networking events with industry professionals, nightly socials and a gala dinner. The TRSC is a platform for like-minded students to gain experience in the field and pursue a career in the sport industry. Tickets go on sale today! If you are a Ryerson student, there are LIMITED internal early bird tickets available for $140. External early bird tickets can be purchased for $150. NHL Alumni to Play Shinny Hockey Game at Nathan Phillips Square to Launch Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s™ in Support of Baycrest

Times : 12-2 P.M.
January is Alzheimer Awareness Month and North America’s largest charity hockey tournament wants to spread awareness with an outdoor shinny-style hockey game featuring NHL alumni on January 26. The Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s™ in Support of Baycrest will launch its 13th annual tournament with a Winter Warm Up hockey game on the ice rink at Nathan Phillips Square. Dan Daoust, President of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association, along with fellow NHL alumni Nik Antropov, Dennis Maruk and Bryan Muir, will take part in the event. The public is invited to watch the game and cheer on some of their favourite hockey legends.

Through a lyrical text and choreographed physical score, five performers chronicle a life pulled through time, encountering meteorological phenomena, mythology, political calamity, pop culture, and everyday happenstance along the way.
