Rogers Hometown Hockey Comes To Aurora

Rogers Hometown Hockey is coming to Aurora the weekend of December 8-9. Sportsnet broadcasters Ron MacLean and Tara Slone, NHL alumni, live entertainment and hockey activities for the whole family, will all be a part of the festivities.

On Sunday, Rogers Hometown Hockey will host an outdoor viewing party of two NHL games hosted by Ron and Tara. 

  • Montreal Canadiens vs. Chicago Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m.

  • Calgary Flames vs. Edmonton Oilers at 9 p.m. 

Food and beverages onsite:

  • Free Tim Horton's coffee and hot chocolate
  • Free Dr. Oetker's pizza station 
  • Free popcorn
  • Charity barbecue hosted by Aurora Minor Hockey Association, Central York Girls Hockey Association and York-Simcoe Express

A highlight of the weekend will be a rousing Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) matchup between northern York Region rivals, the Aurora Tigers and the Newmarket Hurricanes. The game will take place at the Aurora Community Centre on Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are sold out.
