York Region Transit operates 16 bus routes within the City of Vaughan. Some of these routes connect to the Finch subway station on the Toronto Transit line. Toronto Transit operates six bus routes in Vaughan with connections to the Islington, Jane, Wilson, and Downsview subway stations.
The Maple Go train station located at 30 Station Street, north of Major Mackenzie Drive and east of Keele Street, offers three rush hour trains on weekdays, to and from Toronto’s Union Station. This train ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
For motorists Highway 407, and Highway 400, both run through the City of Vaughan, providing commuters with easy access to the City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Yonge, Bathurst and Dufferin Streets, offer alternative routes into the City of Toronto.
