Transportation in Newmarket
York Region Transit operates bus service along Newmarket’s major streets. These bus lines connect passengers to Newmarket’s business district, shopping centre and community centres. The Newmarket Go Train Station is located on Davis Drive, just east of Yonge Street next to the Tannery Mall. It is a one hour train ride from this station to downtown Toronto’s Union Station. Go bus service from Newmarket connects to the Finch subway station on the Toronto Transit line.
Highway 404 which runs along Newmarket’s eastern border, provides a direct passage into the City of Toronto, and links up with Highway 401, which spans the Greater Toronto Area.
