The Newmarket Theatre located at 505 Pickering Crescent hosts a variety of community theatre productions, dance recitals, and headline entertainers. The Newmarket Youth and Recreation Centre located at 244 Main Street runs workshops, social activities, special events and dances. The Newmarket Seniors’ Meeting Place at 474 Davis Drive is a multi-purpose, 1400 square foot facility, that operates numerous clubs, activities, and social events. The ultra-modern Newmarket Public Library located at 438 Park Avenue offers a myriad of programs for children, adults, and seniors.
A multi-screen, state-of-the-art, Famous Players Silver City has recently opened on Yonge Street, north of Davis Drive. Next door to the theatre you will find high-profile family restaurants.
