The annual Schomberg Spring Fair held in May is one of the oldest fairs in Canada. This four day event features livestock competitions, a midway petting zoo, games and crafts. The Kettleby Village Fair is held the first Saturday after Labour Day in the Tyrwhitt Conservation area along Kettleby Road. A marching band and parade highlight the festivities. King Township’s “Beautiful King” program features a festival of lights in December, and horticultural awards in the summer.
The Wildflower Farm located at 15485, 10th concession in Schomberg has an extensive wildflower nursery, and floral gift barn. Pucks Farm at 16540 Concession 11 in Schomberg, and Round the Bend Farm at 16225 Jane Street in Kettleby, are open to the public and offer hay rides, seasonal strawberry picking and children’s events. Kettleby Herb Farms at Weston Road and the Aurora Sideroad, hosts an afternoon tea in the summertime.
