Lake Simcoe’s shoreline is dotted with seasonal cottages and year round homes ranging from modest frame bungalows to gorgeous custom built homes. Particularly noteworthy are the impressive mansions in the historic Roches Point community along Metro Road, as well as the many fine homes on Lake Drive, and in Jackson’s Point on scenic Hedge Road.
Inland there is an ever growing number of affordable new home subdivisions featuring detached and semi-detached homes, as well as townhomes. These planned communities are geared towards families. New schools and shopping plazas are being built to accommodate these new residents.
Sutton, Pefferlaw, and Keswick contain an assortment of affordable homes built mostly from the 1950s right up to the present.
