Transportation in East Gwillimbury

York Region Transit operates bus service on Leslie Street and Yonge Street. It is approximately a 20 minute bus ride to the Newmarket Go bus terminal which provides a connecting route to Toronto. Motorist enjoy relatively easy access to Highway 404 which is situated just a few minutes south of East Gwillimbury. The commute to Toronto by car, takes approximately 45 minutes.
