Shopping in East Gwillimbury

Shopping in East Gwillimbury is somewhat limited as there are no major shopping centres within the township. However, East Gwillimbury residents are just a short drive from shopping centres in the neighbouring Town of Newmarket. Mt. Albert and Sharon have old fashioned main street shopping districts featuring locally owned shops and restaurants, as well as professional offices. In the summer you will find numerous roadside fruit and vegetable markets scattered throughout East Gwillimbury. Garden centres are also well represented.
