Be sure to mark your calender for the first weekend in June to check out the Mount Albert Sports Day and Spring Fair, which features a midway, crafter and artisan displays, as well as entertainers and live bands. Another annual East Gwillimbury event is the Santa Clause Parade which is held the fourth Sunday in November. The parade route alternates each year between Holland Landing and Sharon.
East Gwillimbury operates two public library branches. The Holland Landing branch at 19513 Yonge Street and the Mount Albert branch at 19300 Centre Street. Programs for the whole family are available at these branches including: theatre groups, writing contests, and arts and crafts.
