Transportation in Milton
:Milton Transit operates a local dial-a-bus service, south of Highway 401, from Bronte Road to Thompson Road. This bus service runs on weekdays only.
The Milton Go Station located at Main Street and Thompson Road provides both bus and train service. The train ride to Mississauga takes approximately 30 minutes, while the train ride to Toronto’s Union Station takes approximately one hour.
Milton has four interchanges off Highway 401, that provide convenient access to points east and west of town. Lester B. Pearson International Airport is approximately a 20 minute drive east along this highway. Highway 25 which runs north-south through Milton provides easy access to the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), which is just a short drive south of Milton. The QEW connects motorists to downtown Toronto. This commute takes approximately one hour.
