Recreation in Halton Hills
Halton Hills has four conservation areas that offer a myriad of recreational opportunities including, hiking, and cross-country skiing along the popular Bruce Trail, which winds its way through the town. Halton Hills’ has six golf courses.
The majority of Halton Hills sports facilities are located in Georgetown. Cedarvale Park, located off Maple Avenue, has a baseball diamond and soccer pitch. The Mold-Masters Sports Plex on Guelph Street across from the Georgetown Marketplace Mall features two ice-pads, and tennis courts. South Community Park at 8th line will soon be home to a new community centre that will feature an indoor pool.
