The Burlington Arts Centre located at 1333 Lakeshore Road, is home to Canada’s foremost collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics. The Burlington Teen Tour Band, formed in the 1940s, has toured around the world and is Canada’s largest marching band. The Music and Drama Centre located at 2311 New Street adjacent to the Central Library hosts performances staged by the Burlington Little Theatre.
Drury Lane Theatrical Productions performs their musicals at 2269 New Street. Summer music festivals are held in Burlington’s waterfront parks. The Royal Botanical Gardens located at 680 Plains Road West., is one of North America’s largest botanical gardens with 2700 acres of gardens and trails. The RBG is famous for having the largest lilac collection in the world. The spring Lilac Festival is spectacular.
