Go Transit bus service is available from Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland. This service is limited to one bus a day, heading south in the morning and returning in the afternoon rush hour. The bus ride from Beaverton at the north end of the township, to the Whitby Go Train Station takes approximately an hour-and-a-half. The train ride from the Whitby Go Station to downtown Toronto’s Union Station takes approximately fifty minutes.
The commute to Toronto is is not any quicker by car. It is approximately an hour-and-a half-drive to the Toronto city limits.
