Dovercourt Park houses were built between 1900 and 1923. These houses are moderate in size, and generally well maintained. As this is a first time home buyers area, many of the houses have been converted into two and three family homes in order to help off-set the cost of home ownership.

Parking is limited in this neighbourhood with less than half the residential blocks being served by laneways. However, there is permit street parking available to Dovercourt residents for a nominal annual fee.
