Maryvale residents do most of their shopping at the Parkway Mall, a medium-size, indoor mall located at the south-east corner of Ellesmere Road and Victoria Park Avenue. This mall is anchored by a large department store and a supermarket. It has over eighty stores and restaurants. Included in this mix are a large number of men's and ladies' fashion shops, home decorating and improvement stores, and professional and medical offices.

Ellesmere Road offers a mix of small shopping plazas and larger retail stores, including a Home Depot, a video store, a beer store, and a golf centre. Medical and professional offices are also situated along this route.
