Education in the Park

education in the parkDesigned to support Ontario's Ministry of Education Curriculum Guidelines, Downsview Park's free school programs include interactive lessons, memorable crafts, and fun activities both inside and outside Downsview Park's Discovery Centre. All school programs are half-day workshops, with the opportunity to combine a morning and afternoon session. Environmental education programs may be eligible for points in EcoSchools certification.

Who can book a program? Teachers, community groups, home schooling associations, etc.

We are now accepting bookings up to March 30, 2012. Bookings for spring 2012 (April 1 onwards) will be accepted starting January 9, 2012.

We think this is a wonderful contribution to the city. Please let your schools know about this opportunity.
