July in the GTA Is Sizzling Hot With Lots Of Fun Events For All Ages

July 8, 2016

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is the place to be this summer with a plethora of events that will appeal to all ages and demographics. If you are a foodie you will delight at the vast array of farmers' markets that typically take place on the weekends at locations throughout the GTA. For a list of locations and times visit tfmn.ca or visit torontoneighbourhoods.net. The Toronto RibFest http://torontoribfest.com and Toronto Food Truck Festival http://torontofoodtruckfestival.com  are not to be missed.

If gentle summer breezes make you want to sway to the sound of music, then be sure to check out Yorkville's Summer of Music, downtown Toronto's Play the Parks concert series and the highly anticipated Beaches International Jazz Festival. Toronto's vibrant arts scene is on display at Shakespeare in High Park a Canadian Stage production that runs all summer long. And be sure not to miss the Toronto Art Crawl which takes place in Toronto's Entertainment District.

Some of the larger street festivals happening this July in Toronto include: the Redpath Waterfront Festival presented by Ports Toronto, and the BIG On Bloor Festival another highly anticipated Toronto summer event. Beyond the Toronto City limits some featured events include the Markham Fair and Whitby Harbour Day. For more Toronto events this July check out the Toronto Neighbourhoods calendar.
