Introducing Market 707: Toronto's only street food and retail market made entirely out of shipping containers!

September 23, 2013

Housed in retrofitted shipping containers, Market 707 is Toronto’s most unique street food and retail market. This year-round outdoor market located at the Scadding Court Community Centre in the heart of Toronto's Alexandra Park neighbourhood, brings together local entrepreneurs serving up more than 10 types of delicious international street food, along with unique goods and services to create an urban food and shopping environment unlike any other.

The market 707 vendors offer an eclectic mix of international foods and drink. Locally roasted coffee, hand-crafted espresso and Italian sodas headline the beverages but it is the food that will really make your mouth water and keep you coming back for more: For starters NomNomNom Crepes serves up French street food, yes crepes but also pastries, croissants, sandwiches and home made ice creams.

If you really want to go international  The original One serves up Dim Sum, Kim's A La Cart is the place for Korean Food, Kanto By Tita Flips serves up Filipino dishes, TNT Roto will spice up your day with their jerk chicken, Gushi Japanese Street Food means Japanese-style skewers and lots of them, Kitchen Cargo welcomes you with plain old fashioned comfort food, Mac'n is Mac and Cheese with additions too tantalizing to print, and don't forget Vero Meditterranian where you can take out a Souvlaki for a quick lunch on the fly.
