Halton Region recorded 465 total sales of all home types in October 2011. The following represents the total number of sales, the average sale price, the average sale to listing price ratio and the average days on the market for each municipality in Halton Region. This Toronto Real Estate report is based on the most recent market statistics from the Toronto Real Estate Board.

Burlington: Total Sales 55, Average Sale Price $430,097, Average List to Sale Price Ratio 97%, Average Days on Market 30


Halton Hills: Total Sales 83, Average Sale Price $500,328, Average List to Sale Price 97%, Average Days on Market 35

 

Milton: Total Sales 156, Average Sale Price $427,861, Average List to Sale price 98%, Average Days on Market 21


Oakville: Total Sales 171, Average Sale Price $625,745, Average List to Sale Price 97%, Average Days on Market 29

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Halton Region recorded 465 of the 7,642 total sales of all home types reported by the Toronto Real Estate Board for October 2011. The average sale price of $513,831 is the second highest of any region in the Greater Toronto Area. This was achieved largely due to the average sale price in Oakville (see below) which was the second highest in the (GTA) behind only King Township in York Region

Oakville recorded the most sales in Halton Region with 171 total sales.

Oakville also achieved the highest average sale price of all Halton Region municipalities with an average of $625,745

Milton recorded the highest List to Sale Price ratio in Halton Region at 98%

* Milton homes sold the quickest in Halton Region with an average of just 21 days on the market.
